    Italian Spaghetti Salad, , My aunt Gwen’s spaghetti salad is good, A response to the 3/7/2015 review left by Anonymous. My neighbor, and also dear friend, was raised in a small village in Italy. During WWII, an unfortunate donkey broke his leg. When I inquired what became of the poor beast, she replied, “They ate him”. The poster of this recipe is a founding member of the old Recipezaar. I always trust her recipes as being reliable. This dish was DELICIOUS!! I added an extra cucumber and a diced green pepper, and used Wishbone Italian dressing. Being in Texas, we have hot weather nine months of the year. Therefore, we are always looking for cold dishes to make that don’t heat up our kitchens. We will use this one a lot! It would also be great for potlucks or funerals, where it is difficult to heat up many dishes and you might have picky eaters. Di, thank you for a wonderful recipe!!
