Sourdough Bread, Sourdough bread without using a starter The yogurt does it It makes a very tasty loaf of bread One of our favorites , Its delicious hot, but not brown Its very doughy I only had full-fat yoghurt and olive oil marjarine instead of butter, so perhaps that is the problem It had risen then sunk down again , Loaf was too small and heavy Rose nicely to begin with but began sinking in the centre just before the baking cycle started and sank even more during it There’s way too much yeast for this amount of flour I think (I am a trained chef by the way) I notice one review here suggests reducing the amount of yeast to 2 tsp, I may try again with that tweak, or even slightly less
