Crisscross Apple Crowns(Pampered Chef Copycat), These are so good, you will want them often! Can be breakfast or dessert! Serve warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream for comfort food heaven! Adapted from The Pampered Chef All The Best Cookbook , These were such a bit hit, everyone loved them, Yum!! Made these today for my family in honor of the Johnny Appleseed Festival held every September in northeast Indiana used two large apples and two large pears (the kids ate my other apples) This was just enough filling for two of the 8-count packages of biscuits used about 2 heaping Tablespoons of filling for each crown They only needed 25 minutes in my oven The use of commercial biscuits makes them quick and easy yet I’ll bet they’d be even better with homemade biscuit dough as suggested by SweetsLady in her review Thanks Sharon123 – these are great!!
