Applesauce Cake,This is a cake my mom used to make when I was growing up. It’s very moist and delicious all by itself, but even yummier with a dollop of whipped cream!,I sliced some delicious fresh apples and set them on the top of the cake just before baking. Looks delicious and definitely smells good,sugar substitute: used 1c monkfruit granulated sweetener instead of 2c sugar applesauce substitute (same amount): I put red delicious apples w/peel in a food processor and chopped them up. water substitute: 1/2 c plain greek yogurt w/ 1/4 c juice from the apples I had chopped in food processor juice from 1/2 lemon 1 Tbs lemon zest cook time- 38 minutes
