Quick and Easy Cinnamon Toast,From the Young Times magazine, it was submitted by Misra Durrani.,Thanks for posting this quick, easy, sweet treat. I made it to go with some hot tea and it was just perfect. I have made it before toasting first and then adding the sugar/cinnamon mixture but after reading the recipe and Texas Aggie Mom’s review I wanted to try it under the broiler. IT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. It made the cinnamon and sugar get warm, darken, and caramelized. I waited till the cinnamon mixture didn’t look like cinnamon if that makes sense. The toast still had a bit of a crunch under the broiler but more soft and warm. It was nice on a cold day. I prefer less but if you need crunch, pretoast it and THEN put it in the broiler with the toppings and broil it. Enjoy! ChefDLH,This is so yummy. I really like this method. But since I toasted the bread in the oven under broil, I had to flip the slices because under it was not toasted. But it was perfect. Great taste. Thanks Charishma 🙂 Made for Cookbook tag game
