Nutritious Soy-Based Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Features:
    Cuisine:

Looks like a tasty smoothie, but I don't see how it can be "full of protein," if the only protein in it is in the banana and soy milk. Did I miss something? How many grams of protein are there in that 1 cup soy milk you use when making this? You could increase the protein somewhat or significantly with a chunk of silken tofu, a scoop of unflavored whey, vegetable, or egg white protein powder, or some nuts.

Soy Fruit Smoothie,a DELICIOUS soy smoothie! You dont need to be a vegan to enjoy this. Its delicious, full of protein and essential nutrients, and filling enough to replace a meal.,Looks like a tasty smoothie, but I don’t see how it can be “full of protein,” if the only protein in it is in the banana and soy milk. Don’t feel bad using frozen food! Often there is more nutrition in frozen than fresh because fresh has had a lot more time to ‘decay’ and loose nutritional value. That being said fresh fruit adds a more favorable creamy texture to a good smoothie such as this one 🙂
