These were pretty darn tasty! I was a little skeptical at first, but I really liked them and so did my neighbors that got cookie trays from me. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!

Cinnamon Raisin Bars, Soft, plump raisins layered in a crispy crunchy crust and drizzled with sweet cinnamon icing My Mom made these yummy bars often over the years They are absolutely delicious and deceptively easy! Craisins and/or golden raisins make great additions to the standard raisin filling , These were pretty darn tasty! I was a little skeptical at first, but I really liked them and so did my neighbors that got cookie trays from me Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!, Wow I’m soooooooooo excited I found this recipe DH invited a herd of people over for a Football Party and I needed to whip up something for the girls in the group that didn’t include bacon, meat or beer I picked this recipe, and am so glad I did! I had to make a few substitutions with what I had on hand: 1) I realized I didn’t have any ground cinnamon (Yikes!) so I decided to toss in a cinnamon stick when I cooked the Raisin Filling Next, I subbed Apple Pie Spice in the icing in place of the cinnamon for the Icing, and quite honestly, if I made these again – I would do the exact same thing b/c it was a great flavor I also made a bit of extra frosting as I know that I really like that part! It was a perfect fall treat! This recipe is great for the Oatmeal Raisin Lovers who like ooey-gooey poofier raisins Amazing treat
