Mango Banana Smoothie,This recipe comes from the 2007 cookbook, More Smoothies for Life. The concentration of mango in this drink holds a lot of carotenoids that will helf in giving a healthy, youthful skin.,This is delicious! I make this often. It is my favorite smoothie that DD (toddler) enjoys as well! use frozen mango, no ice out of preference, the mango nectar use is chilled from the fridge so I just use a room temperature banana and it is still ice cold. I will make this over and over again.,So yummy!! I did make a small change – I made my own nectar so this would be raw. I have seen the mango nectar in the store and I’m assuming that is what you were refering to. So all I did was run a couple mangoes through the juicer. I really have to thank you for this because I have always loved mango & banana together but I don’t have it as much because of the mango fibers in the smoothie (weird texture for me). So this solved that problem!! I juiced them and added the one as listed and that really cut down on those fibers while still being amazingly nutritious. Never thought of that before. Thank you so much for this one Syd!! Made for Veggie Swap 23!!
