Chocolate Omelette, From James Reeson Alive and Cooking This is a memory one as my husband attempted something like this for the kids when I was away on a weekends mothers camp, but his was a disaster From Debbwl’s suggestion I have added strawberries to the recipe but of course you could add other fruit that is in season , Very good for breakfast or even dessert! used Hershey Special Dark cocoa powder and put blueberry preserves inside the omelet (raspberry would be good too) the hot oozing fruit balanced the chocolate Step #3 didn’t work for me The chocolate chips started burning before melting and the broiler changed the texture of the omelet Next time I would put the chocolate chips inside the omelet or just put chocolate sauce on the top Also I will probably reduce the number of yolks to make it lighter, more like a crepe Yum!
