Schneider Family Cheese Dip, I got this from my friend Laura It’s her grandmother’s recipe A friend gave her this recipe 1952 and it has a been a staple at the family gatherings since A Schneider family gathering would not be complete without at least a triple batch!, I am not going to rate this recipe with stars because I think there may be a typo in it I really wanted to like this dip My family loves to entertain and we’re always looking for new appetizer recipes, but this was way too salty I wonder if maybe I was supposed to use garlic powder instead of garlic salt or if maybe the amount is wrong There was no way I could eat this with salty chips Sorry Martha! UPDATE: Martha found an error Garlic salt should be 1 teaspoon rather than 1 TBSP I will try this again and update at a later time , I am not going to rate this recipe with stars because I think there may be a typo in it I really wanted to like this dip My family loves to entertain and we’re always looking for new appetizer recipes, but this was way too salty I wonder if maybe I was supposed to use garlic powder instead of garlic salt or if maybe the amount is wrong There was no way I could eat this with salty chips Sorry Martha!
