Hamburger Stroganoff

Features:
    Cuisine:

Somewhat flavorful, and overall not bad; but it lacks the pizzazz of hamburger stroganoff that I am accustomed to. I never, ever make the boxed version, btw, although at one time it was a mainstay before learning better about healthful nutrition & non-nutritious preservatives.

Hamburger Stroganoff,Classic old recipe. I got this one from my mom. My husband and I practically lived on this when we were first married.,Somewhat flavorful, and overall not bad; but it lacks the pizzazz of hamburger stroganoff that I am accustomed to. I never, ever make the boxed version, btw, although at one time it was a mainstay before learning better about healthful nutrition & non-nutritious preservatives.,Have been making this recipe but without the ketchup for years. The ketchup was a great addition. used 3 garlic cloves because we just love garlic. Making this again tonight and will also add 1 tea of dry mustard pwr. for a little added flavor.
