Next Door Lady’s Kringla (Norwegian), The wonderful elderly lady next door while I was growing up would always bake these for her grandchildren and bake extra for me The heavenly scent of it cooking would fill the house and make my mouth water Getting these baked well takes a lot of practice, but it’s well worth it!, Tasty and very tender I made a couple figure-8’s but then went cookin4my3boys’ route and made long, thin, ladyfinger-like shapes I had mine with butter and honey and Bf had his with butter and cherry preserves Yummy Very tender, sticky batter, but actually amazingly easy to handle I think these would be extra good if the final coating of flour was replaced by powdered sugar I don’t know if that would work I may have to try it the next time And there will be a next time Loved them!
