Just like my mom used to make! used a can of tomato sauce instead of the diced because that's how my mom made it. Excellent tip on boiling the peppers for five minutes first.

Ground Beef Stuffed Green Bell Peppers With Cheese, We had these not too long ago and we both decided that they needed a little more seasoning We put a little hot pepper sauce on them and they were much better I would probably include 2 teaspoons in the meat mix the next time that I make them , Just like my mom used to make! used a can of tomato sauce instead of the diced because that’s how my mom made it Excellent tip on boiling the peppers for five minutes first , This is nearly identical to the process that i have used for over 30 years for making stuffed peppers The only difference would be the seasoning and type of cheese I often use some garlic powder, basil and a little cayenne Seasoning is really a personal/cultural thing so i advise to always consider seasoning to personal taste I usually use parmesan cheese on top or add some mozzerella, but cheddar sounds good too Also, for a lower fat version, ground turkey can be used
