    So quick and easy! This is a great side dish. I didn't find canned yams at my store, but I found canned sweet potatoes. They were very good. I loved the contrast of the onion and pepper with the sweet potatoes. Served them with steaks and salad. Definitely will make again.

    A Yam A Day !,I invented this to go with a lamb and gravy dish. Yams/sweet potatoes, like carrots, winter squashes and orange colored fruits are anti-oxidants that help to prevent cancer. Personally, I don’t like the overly sweet versions of yams served on holidays. This is a super quick dish that goes well with meat and poultry every day!,So quick and easy! This is a great side dish.
