Directions
Pork Chops and Sauerkraut, The apple and wine or rum add a slight sweetness to the dish which counteracts the bite of the sauerkraut. Goes nicely with herb-roasted potatoes., This was pretty good and easy enough to make. We had small pork chops so 20 minutes of steaming was a bit long. We used the rum rather than wine and it worked out well. Just follow the directions and it should turn out fine. I didn’t have to do any final browning – they were fine from the initial cooking., Great, quick and easy dinner! Had all of the ingredients, followed the recipe exactly…used White Cooking Wine in place is white wine and the hubs really enjoyed this dish. Will definitely make it again! Tart apples work best for flavor and texture. used a Sweet Tango apple, but Fuji would also work well.
