Tater Tot Taco Bake, This recipe reminds me of chili cheese fries (I have reduced the amount of milk after reading the reviews I hope this helps ), Prepare to adorn!!! Standing alone, this isn’t anything to rave about, but after topping it with sour cream, hot sauce, or guacamole on the plate it is pretty darned tastey!, I made this as directed, only adding some frozen mixed vegetables to the meat mixture For us the cheese soup seemed to be too much It made the meat mixture so goopy and thick and overly cheesey- and we like cheese I think if made again, I would cut the canned soup to only 1/2 the can, and cut the sour cream as well- I didn’t think it added anything to the dish that I would miss Either that or instead of the canned cheese soup, I would just use a bit of velveeta Also I think I would first cook the tater tots alone by themselves, then add them to the casserole at the end They did get quite soggy
