Chickpeas and Maple Syrup Spread, A recipe I got on a maple syrup booklett , WOW, this is sooooo good! I was a little sceptical I have to admit, but this turned out fantastic! LOVED the taste and texture of this, it was like eating marzipane! YUM! used applesauce in place of the lemon juice as Im allergic to the latter and due to that I reduced the syrup to 1 tbs, which was plenty sweet for our taste THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this keeper, I will make this again and again :)Made and reviewed for the Aussie/NZ Recipe Swap December 2011 , WOW, this is sooooo good!
