Toddler Chicken Hash, I threw this together one night for my 13 month old twins It was easy for them to eat with their hands, and they loved it! The ingredients are all canned, so it is easy to have on hand and throw together those nights when you just don’t have the energy to be a toddler gourmet! :-), I have been meaning to review this I love this idea I have made this as is, and my youngest 2 love it! I have also used this basic idea combined with the baggie method to make my life even easier I open up 4 or 5 cans of organic veggies and legumes/chicken/tuna, drain them, and then dump a little of each into several small baggies, and just stick them all into the freezer When I need a quick meal for my 17 month old or 4 year old, I just pop a baggie into the microwave, and wthey have a well rounded meal You can use whatever combo you like This last batch I made had chickpeas, hominy, potatoes, green beans, and carrots (I mash the chickpeas lightly before serving to prevent choking)To serve, sometimes I will add a tsp of EVOO or cultured butter and a pinch of black pepper, mild curry powder, cumin, etc I have even added bottled spaghetti sauce I try to make nutritious, healthy meals for my family, and use fresh ingredients whenever possible but let’s face it with 5 kids, myself and my DH, it is impossible to please everyone all the time! This is a great, easy go to meal for busy families with little kids I think it’s pretty yummy too!! Thanks for the great inspiration!
