Thank you for posting this! I have been searching for it. It was originally published in the Better Homes and Garden cookbook in the 70s. My mother used to make it regularly but I couldnt find it. I make a variation of it from what I remembered but now I can make it exactly like she did.

Applesauce Meatloaf, I was given this recipe by my matron of honor more than 25 years ago It is a family favorite It is quite different from the usual meatloaf, sweet enough that the kids love it, but the Dijon mustard cuts the sweetness so adults will enjoy it as well , Thank you for posting this! I have been searching for it It was originally published in the Better Homes and Garden cookbook in the 70s My mother used to make it regularly but I couldnt find it I make a variation of it from what I remembered but now I can make it exactly like she did , Awesome meatloaf!! I was never a fan of it before until now The only thing I did differently was add a packet of dry onion soup mix Very tasty! We will be eating this again and again!
