I just made this for dinner, using 16 ounces of Sprite as I did not have Apple Cider and although they say Alcohol cooks out I do not use any of it in my cooking. Instructions very easy to follow and it turned out absolutely delicious. So easy and quick to prepare.

Bratwurst and Sauerkraut Skillet, My mother used to make this all the time. It’s a recipe that’s been passed down the German side of my family for many generations, and we’ve all put our own spin on it over time. Feel free to add your own, too. Use a beer you like to drink, or leave out the sugar and use apple cider, if you prefer., I just made this for dinner, using 16 ounces of Sprite as I did not have Apple Cider and although they say Alcohol cooks out I do not use any of it in my cooking. Instructions very easy to follow and it turned out absolutely delicious. So easy and quick to prepare., Took forever to cook through, would be nice to have better more thorough directions.
