Chai Tea Mix Gift In A Jar

Features:
    Cuisine:

This is fabulous! It's been a while since I had bought up the Safeway brand of chai latte mix, but when I went to buy some recently they didn't have it. I was disappointed til I founds this recipe. This is far better and rivals Starbucks for sure!

I like my chai with a bit of bite so I doubled the ginger. I also made mine without sugar. That gives people an option for sweetening their chai (assuming I share) used 1/2 packet sweet n low.

Chai Tea Mix Gift in a Jar, Watch out Starbucks, you’ll be out of business in no time The nutmeg and allspice is an added spice hit, use as desired Also, I’ve been playing around with the amount of sugar, I like the sweetness with just 1/2 cup sugar, some suggest no sugar at all If you don’t care for the residue in the bottom of your cup, you can strain the mix with a fine sieve Food for thought Note 12-21-12 (I want to thank the gal that just reviewed The Chai Tea she used it in her K coffee machine by just running hot water into the cup, perfect temperature for the tea mix), This is fabulous!
