Chili Tots Casserole

Features:
    Cuisine:

You can take your own leftover chili, as long as you have about 2 1/2 - 3 pounds left. (If you only have 1 1/2 pounds, make one casserole.) Of simply make enough chili to equal this recipe.I only say this, because my husband loves making chili once/month, then freezing the left-overs. This gives us other options!

Chili Tots Casserole, There’s something about the combo of these two fast food favorites However, when you’re scraping up pennies to afford rent, eating out isn’t an option This dish is affordable and great because you can make two and freeze one Also, you can make this a Chili dog and tots casserole by adding bite-sized hot dog pieces to the chili and serving with buns , You can take your own leftover chili, as long as you have about 2 1/2 – 3 pounds left (If you only have 1 1/2 pounds, make one casserole ) Of simply make enough chili to equal this recipe I only say this, because my husband loves making chili once/month, then freezing the left-overs This gives us other options!, I love that meat is added to this Of course, if you had a chili with lots of beans, it would accomplish the same goal, but the meat keeps it from being too much on the chili side, for lack of a better explanation There’s not the usual chili overkill that some recipes with canned chili have The best part was that it was so easy, dh threw it together in no time flat, without leaving me a zillion dirty dishes in the sink :)I subbed ground turkey, as usual, and I actually used 1 1/2 lbs, since that’s what I had handy I also had dh just use one 9×13 instead of two 8×8 pans I didn’t make the extra one to freeze I love that I normally have most of the ingredients on hand, so this can be thrown together at the last minute Keeper for us!
