2 cups chicken broth
2 large carrots, sliced
1/2 cup sliced celery
1 bell pepper, diced
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon marjoram
1/8 teaspoon sage
1/8 teaspoon thyme
fresh ground pepper

    Cook on High Setting For 2-1/2 Hours, or Until the Lentils Are Tender.
