Easy One-Bowl Chocolate Cake Recipe

Features:
    Cuisine:

This is a very good one-bowl cake. used the 1/2 cup butter and 1/3 cup cocoa. I didn't have instant coffee, so I added a spoonful of brewed coffee to the cup before measuring the milk. I baked it in two 8" round cake pans for 28 minutes, which I think is about 3 minutes too long (oops). I frosted it with Recipe #369505. Definitely a go-to when I want a cake without too much work. Thrown-Together Chocolate Cake, I got this recipe from an old lady who lived across the street from me in a suburb of Johannesburg All my down-home cake recipes flopped at that altitude (6, 000 ft), until she gave me this one She’d lived there all her life It’s definitely not fancy, but whether at lower or higher altitudes, it’s always worked for me — and it’s literally thrown together I’m writing it down as she gave it to me , This is a very good one-bowl cake used the 1/2 cup butter and 1/3 cup cocoa I didn’t have instant coffee, so I added a spoonful of brewed coffee to the cup before measuring the milk I baked it in two 8 round cake pans for 28 minutes, which I think is about 3 minutes too long (oops) I frosted it with Recipe #369505 Definitely a go-to when I want a cake without too much work Thanks for posting!
