    Iadded some copped onion to the beef and used both cans of bean juice, A dash of cayenne for interest, a can of diced potatoes from my covid stash and an envelope of onion gravy mix. I let it simmer a little while and it was amazing. We had a cook when I was growing up and I never had great food like this. Thanks for sharing.

    Hamburger and Kidney Beans, Another simple (and fast) yet tastey recipe from my husband’s childhood When I asked Curt the name of this particular recipe, he said, Hamburger and Kidney Beans When I asked again, he gave me the same answer I wanted it to have some really cool name that I could use here on the site, but this is it: Hamburger and Kidney Beans His mom would cook this and would just serve it plain It was Curt that added the Mashed Potatoes later I omitted the recipe for instant mashed potatoes, assuming that you all know how to make them to your own likeing Of course you can always use real mashed potatoes, but in a time crunch you can use instant, or this would be great for left over mashed as well You can adjust this recipe easily to fit your family size , Iadded some copped onion to the beef and used both cans of bean juice, A dash of cayenne for interest, a can of diced potatoes from my covid stash and an envelope of onion gravy mix I let it simmer a little while and it was amazing We had a cook when I was growing up and I never had great food like this Thanks for sharing , I grew up on this and still love it use two cans with the juice from both I then add flour and a little beef broth so I get a really good gravy and lots of it And I only eat it over real mashed potatoes use very little broth so as not to take away from the richness of the juice of the kidney beans What I end up with is a hamburg kidney bean gravy like SOS It makes make such a good gravy!!! Yummy I love this dish!!!!
