    Whole Wheat Biscuits, Mmm–hot biscuits or wonderful light dumplings on a stew. From Canadian Diabetes Association., good eating on a stew. I would cut back on the milk if I make into a biscuit. Perfect for a dumpling recipe and made leftover stew a whole new meal., This is the first time I’ve ever used whole wheat flour, and I’m not sure if I made these right. I scaled the recipe down to three biscuits, just to give them a try. I think if I make them again, I’ll add a little bit of sugar or Splenda. Thanks for the introduction to whole wheat baking!

    Combine Flours, Baking Powder and Salt in a Bowl.

    Cut in Margarine With a Pastry Blender or 2 Knives.

    Add Milk, Mix Quickly.

    Turn Out Onto a Floured Board.

    Knead 6 to 8 Times.

    Roll 1/4 Inch Thick.

    Cut Into 12, 2 Inch Round Biscuits or Into Wedges or Squares.

    Place on a Lightly Greased Baking Sheet.

    Bake in a 425f Oven 12 to 15 Minutes Until Lightly Browned.

    For Herb Biscuits, Add Basil, Thyme and Parsley to Dry Ingredients.
