Kansas Gal Biscuits

Features:
    Cuisine:

These are excellent biscuits, just a little bit cake-batter tasting for me. I think it was too much sugar and the addition of the egg. I did tweak it a bit though, used all butter instead of shortening and used quick buttermilk instead of plain milk. Still, they were very enjoyable, very soft, rose well, cooked well, overall I am very pleased.
