    Kid’s Macaroni & Cheese Casserole, It seems like I got this recipe off of a box of Kraft Macaroni and cheese many years ago As a single parent, I had to serve economical meals that my kids would like and this dish was the one they requested the most , This recipe is almost exactly the same as one my mom made for my brother and I when we were kids I haven’t had it in years My daughter — the picky one — loved it! So it will be made again Thanks for the reminder of simpler times and comfort food! :), This was a lot better then I thought it would be used one pound of ground beef as I thought a pound and a half looked like too much I followed the rest of the recipe as written other then I added a teaspoon of minced garlic to the beef as it was browning I did add onions too as it says in the directions but in the ingredients it doesn’t state how much onion I just used my best judgement Nice weeknight meal

    Brown Ground Chuck and Onion in a Large Skillet.

    Add the Jar of Spahetti Sauce and Simmer For 5-10 Minutes.

    Butter a Large Casserole Dish and Place Half the Mac& Cheese Mixture on the Bottom.

    Top With Meat Sauce and 1 Cup of the Shredded Cheese.

    Add the Rest of the Mac& Cheese, the Remaining Meat Sauce and Finish With a Cup of Cheese.

    Cover and Bake at 350 For 20 Minutes.
