Oven Barbecued Chicken, , Do i need to cover before I place it in the oven, This is a delicious Southern barbeque chicken recipe! – not exactly like my mother used to make, but every bit as good. It turned out perfectly even though I accidentally used 3 TBS of Worcestershire sauce instead of the 1 TSP called for. When I tasted the sauce after simmering, I didn’t think the end result would be so good, but an hour of baking in the oven blended all the flavors and worked magic. The only changes I made were to add 1/2 TSP of prepared garlic, and retain instead of drain the olive oil used to brown the chicken. I served the chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus – sheer heaven!
