Pink Stuff Cherry Pie Filling

I.m.o. you REALLY miss out by skipping the Mandarin Oranges! Generally my recipe calls for a 15oz can but I love the change in texture they bring so sometimes I even add a second can! Oh-and I don't limit my marshmallows to a single cup; if you use 2 cups alongside the oranges I'm sure you won't be sorry! I also think that CANDIED WALNUT (pecans will do if that's what I've got on hand) PIECES are the way to go; they're like little sugary treasures buried throughout and the extra layer on top ROCKS for sure! Trust me, try these few additions and you'll see what I mean! For those that can't have that much sugar: I apologize for the temptation =]!

Pink Stuff ( Cherry Pie Filling, Pineapple Dessert, My husband and children would literally die without this for the holidays! And it is SO easy! My husband says it is a side dish I say it is a dessert , I m o you REALLY miss out by skipping the Mandarin Oranges! Generally my recipe calls for a 15oz can but I love the change in texture they bring so sometimes I even add a second can! Oh-and I don’t limit my marshmallows to a single cup; if you use 2 cups alongside the oranges I’m sure you won’t be sorry! I also think that CANDIED WALNUT (pecans will do if that’s what I’ve got on hand) PIECES are the way to go; they’re like little sugary treasures buried throughout and the extra layer on top ROCKS for sure! Trust me, try these few additions and you’ll see what I mean! For those that can’t have that much sugar: I apologize for the temptation =]!, I made this to take to a small family get-together I made a few alterations, but everyone still raved about it! The changes I made were minor I didn’t make the full recipe as I forgot to buy whipped cream and had a different size in my freezer Also I’d mistakenly picked up a can of pineapple tidbits instead of crushed – so that’s what used Also since my hubby is diabetic I left out the sweetened condensed milk – I felt it was sweet enough without it The last thing I did I read in a review on here added a touch of coconut I was told that I could add more of that (I didn’t add much – again due to hubby) The end result Well, let’s just say I returned home with an empty dish to put in the dishwasher! I’ll definitely be making it again not only to take but for a quick dessert at home Thanks
