    Quick Coffee Cake, A fast and easy way to make a homemade coffee cake that can be serverd right out of the oven Best of all it, is made from things that most people keep on hand at all times , A perfectly pleasant coffee cake and quick indeed It needed 1 c milk to produce a workable batter I reduced the baking powder by 1 t used butter in place of shortening The cake is a little compact and dry However, it’s very good with a cup of coffee and that’s what we wanted this morning!     Pre Heat Oven to 425 Degrees. Sift Dry Ingtedients Together. Cut in Shortening. Add Egg, Milk, and Vanilla; Mix Well. Place in 9-Inch Greased Layer Cake Pan.

    Pour Melted Butter or Margarine Over Top of Cake Batter. Mix Flour, Sugar, and Cinnamon; Sprinkle Over Butter. Bake at 425 Degrees For 25 Minutes.
