    Chop Onion.

    Saute Onion and Garlic in Oil Until Soft.

    Add Water and Remaining Ingredients.

    Bring to a Boil, Reduce Heat and Simmer Until Liquid Is Reduced and Raisins Are Soft, About 7 Minutes.

    Puree One Half of the Spread in a Food Processor, Transfer to a Small Bowl, and Combine With Unpureed Spread.
