5-Ingredient Tea Biscuits, Plain biscuits can be delicious with butter and a little homemade jam!!, these were excellent. used whole wheat pastry flour, buttermilk, and butter instead of shortening. I made 1/3 of the recipe and added raisins to some of the biscuits, which yielded 4 raisin and 2 regular biscuits. Instead of flattening them, I formed them into balls and so they baked into puffs. Thanks for the recipe, I’ll definitely be making these again!
