After reading Deb Wolfe's review I did the same... used this sauce with frozen meatballs, as I was pressed for time. It was very good, and well received at a Christmas party- I brought home an empty crockpot!

Absolutely Awesome Smoky Meatballs, This recipe was given to me by my friend Julie She makes them for every gathering that we have for our school group They are different and very, very tasty! I think you will enjoy them as much as we do!!, After reading Deb Wolfe’s review I did the same used this sauce with frozen meatballs, as I was pressed for time It was very good, and well received at a Christmas party- I brought home an empty crockpot!, this is very sweet! guess I should have known by the amount of brown sugar the meatballs are also very wet and hard to shape into balls, very messy! I was going to give this recipe 4 stars cause it really was not my style but since my two year old asked for seconds (which is a miracle! little man has a chicken nugget addiction!) it gets 5!! I Froze the ‘balls’ (my called them balls) with the sauce in a heavy duty freezer bag and defrosted in the fridge for one day reheated in the crock pot till bubbly, about 4 hours on low made for Freezer Tag March 2008
