Alli’s Singapore Sling, This is one of the first drinks I ever had! Really not much of a gin drinker, but this is the exception to the rule Refreshing! This was originally developed by Ngiam Tong Boon for the Raffles Hotel in Singapore in the early 1900’s This is the version in my ‘Drink Box ‘, Wow, I could have had 4 of these! (course then I wouldn’t be able to type LOL) I don’t usually like gin, but these were very tasty I did omit the cherry as we don’t care for them Made this to go with my big Asian feast last nite, perfect! Made and loved for ZWT6 Thanks Allie , I think a Singapore Sling was the first drink I ever ordered when I ‘came of age’ Usually they’re too sweet, but this one’s just right, with a nice balance of flavours Took me back a few decades, deliciously 🙂
