Aloo Keema Potato And Mince Curry

Features:
    Cuisine:

Very delicious, especially for something this simple to make. Like many of us, I'm trying to avoid going to the store, so used what I had at home. Ground turkey instead of beef or lamb, canned tomatoes instead of fresh, garlic-ginger paste instead of fresh. The turkey worked really well with all the spices. I added curry leaves, since I happened to have some. The only modification in cooking I made was to bloom the spices first before stirring them into the meat - I just pushed the meat to the sides and tossed the spices into the center of the skillet. I probably used a bit more potato, did not bother weighing, but I like potatoes. Definitely a satisfying dish. Oh, and my sister used sweet potatoes instead of regular, and that was really good, too.
