A really delicious sauce, perfect over rice. I made it without the butter and it was still great; we had it over bowls of brown rice and tofu.

Antillean Sauce for Meat,On the southern Caribbean island of Bonaire where we lived for 7 years, this popular, delicious sauce was often served with the “catch of the day,” hot rice, and fried plaintains (large cooking bananas.) Follow the recipe or be creative! A wonderful compliment for any grilled meat!,A really delicious sauce, perfect over rice. I made it without the butter and it was still great; we had it over bowls of brown rice and tofu.,This is incredibly good stuff. used veg-friendly Worcestershire sauce, and had no tomato paste on hand, but it’s still flat-out yummy. Served with baked tofu and white rice – – and I have to add that this concoction on white rice will make you want to eat an entire pot of it. Definitely a keeper!
