Directions
Anytime Beef Casserole, Easy to make and reminds me of cannelloni without the pasta part , This is definitely more than the sum of its parts I really liked the flavor combination Made for Freezer Tag 2008 I made the casserole through step 7 then froze it I thawed it in the fridge for a day before baking, covered about 30 minutes Then I uncovered it and baked it about 20 minutes more Very nice flavor and very filling Be sure to drain the spinach very well so you don’t get a soggy casserole I’ll make this again A nice change of pace from my usual hamburger casseroles , This was fine for a quick, throw-together meal — we used ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese; otherwise we followed the directions to the letter We had leftovers (there are only 2 of us!), and they’ve reheated very well for lunches
