Apple, Bacon And Cheddar Pancakes

Features:
    Cuisine:

We all really liked these! used buttermilk, and ended up adding quite a bit more than the 1 cup it calls for. Be prepared to add an extra 1 1/2 cups to the batter to get it to the right consistency. used 2 1/2 cups total, and that seemed to be just right.

Apple, Bacon and Cheddar Pancakes, These are a welcome change of pace to regular pancakes ‘The Guys’ seem to love them , We all really liked these! used buttermilk, and ended up adding quite a bit more than the 1 cup it calls for Be prepared to add an extra 1 1/2 cups to the batter to get it to the right consistency used 2 1/2 cups total, and that seemed to be just right , This recipe needs some tweaking The batter comes out thicker than it should, especially with all the apples, bacon and cheddar in it I had to add about a 1/2 cup of milk If i were to make them again I’d probably go with a pancake mix to avoid the consistency issues and make the finished product a little lighter Also Granny Smith’s were a little tart for our liking, maybe a Macintosh next time Overall it’s a good idea that just needs some finishing touches
