Directions
Apple-cheddar Scones, These are good served warm in the morning with a cup o’tea They are also good with chili or soups , These are super easy to make used chunky applesauce and extra sharp Vermont cheddar cheese They are so delicious I also added a couple teaspoons of Herbs de Provence and it made them extra savory Would go great in the winter with tomato soup I gave them to the staff and teachers at my son’s school with crock pot apple butter! Yummy and lots of compliments , Yum! I added a bit more applesauce for moisture and baked it as an oval loaf on the pan instead of cutting it into triangles I also added about 1/2 tsp of italian herb blend It was delicious!
