Apple Doughnuts

Features:
    Cuisine:

These turned out really gross. Not a donut-like texture at all. I tried these as a way to save time, but they were nasty. i would've been better off with a yeast dough. They basically were like deep-fried biscuits, not a soft and chewy donut.

Apple Doughnuts,Kids love these, and nothing beats eating doughnuts you have made yourself.,These turned out really gross. Not a donut-like texture at all. I tried these as a way to save time, but they were nasty. i would’ve been better off with a yeast dough. They basically were like deep-fried biscuits, not a soft and chewy donut.,Delish! Mine came out overdone, but that is because I’m brand new to fry cooking. (Hehe, I love to bake.) I think I’d like to share some of my newfound frying experience :p… A) A minute is not actually that long. Dough fries FAST. B) After putting dough into the hot oil, the oil will not get any hotter…so don’t get too excited and start putting the dough in 25 degrees too early! (but still, they came out good) I doubled the cinnamon and added nutmeg and allspice like Bayhill did. Even though mine were overdone, they were still scrumptious…best when they were still warm!
