Prep time does not include refrigerating overnight.,My absolute favorite breakfast option! Love the fact that it can be made ahead or the morning of. I often make 2 at a time, especially if we have a company. Very delicious, filling, perfect with coffee or hot tea. I add chopped pecans between the cooked apples and bread for extra flavor.,Made this during the COVID-19 Outbreak for a stay at home Quarantine treat.
