Apple Nut Cinnamon Muffins With Brown Sugar-Cinnamon Topping,One of my family’s favorite apple muffin recipe, the topping on these muffins is delicious!! This recipe makes about 30-32 mini muffins also.,I added a creme cheese mixture to middle of muffins. Soaked diced apples in water with sugar, light brn sugar, pinch of allspice. Refrigerated for 1 hour, drained, then added to recipe. I I also sprayed chopped nuts with butter cooking spray. Then sprinkled nuts with a light brown sugar, cinnamon, pinch of allspice mixture. Put in oven, wrapped loosely in foil on 300 for 20 minutes. Allow to cool before adding to recipe.,Excellent recipe. Moist and good flavor. Not too sweet. I will definitely use this recipe again. No substitutions, made exactly as recipe reads.
