Arthur Treacher’s Fish,Found on the Web in response to a recipe request.,I loved the Krunch Pup, which was a hot dog on a stick, dipped in fish batter and deep fried. I really miss those!,I can’t verify if this is the recipe or not as all our batter mix came in premeasured bags (without the ingredents on it) and we had to add just water to the mix. It wasn’t a very runny mix, nor was it really thick. We would take the cold fish, dip it in water, followed by a dry coating, then dip it in the batter and place in the fryer. We used a 4″-5″ square strainer/skimmer to pull the cooked product out of the fryer, shaking it a few times to get off excess oil off, then put in serving bins.
