Aunt Fran’s Polish Kolaezki, These were a big favorite growing up in Chicago When I moved up north to Wisconsin I discovered that kolache were made here with a raised dough These are more of a sugar cookie or shortbread base , These are the best cookies ever! Wonderful memories making them and eating them when we were younger in our aunt’s kitchen Made half the cookies with apricot preserves and the other half with cherry You can taste a bit of the cream cheese and there is a little bite to the cookie Easy to make and can use any flavor preserves you enjoy Hanging on to this recipe for safe keeping! Made and reviewed for the Football Pool 2019 – Week 11 , These were wonderful Loved, loved, them Made exactly as written and wouldn’t change a thing They were excellent with the apricot jam Thanks for sharing Made for Holiday Hits – 2015
