Aunt Marie’s Peas, My aunt gave this recipe to my mother years ago I always look forward to it at holiday time , My mom, who passed away last year, very often made this medley for dinner guests I was cleaning out her spice rack and found a jar of Summer Savory I remember that was the seasoning she used when she made this I made this recipe with finely diced red pepper instead of pimento and added the Savory I enjoyed the taste from my past thanks for the recipe!
