Authentic Vietnamese Spring Roll Dipping Sauce Recipe (Nuoc Mam Cham)

Features:
    Cuisine:

My wife was living in Sugarland when we met in 2008. She took me to Kim Son's Restaurant. Great food! Year later I was looking for a dipping sauce for Spring Rolls. Voila'! This is just great stuff! I've been making it ever since. It makes a lot and yes it's supposed to be thin. Don't add thickener! It keeps well in the fridge and is good on rice. Works perfect with Vegetable Spring Rolls or you can add shrimp as we do most often or fresh raw tuna(Ahi). Love the sweet and spicy in this and the mint brings it all together in a pleasing and refreshing way. Thanks for sharing Hope!
