Avocado Pie, This sounds unusual but it is DIVINE! give it a try and find a lifelong favorite Plus it is amazingly simple to make , I prepared this drem pie from scratch as I did no have graham crackers on hand: I simply combined flour, sugar a pinch of cinnamon and enough margarine to form small crumbs I pressed this mixture on the bottom and border of a mold After baking and colling down I filled the crust as descibed It was so good that we (4 people) are 3/4 of this It was really difficult to stop eating! A big THANKS for posting this aweasome recipe , Made as written for the Bahamas Region of Culinary Quest #3 – I say as written because that is true for the heart of the recipe – the filling W/your kind permission, I did chg the presentation by using mini-tartlet shells as seen in the pic so I could get small individual servings for guests FYI: The yield for my method was 10 well-filled mini-tartlets plus 2 6-oz ramekins All that said, this is now my favorite recipe of CQ #3 so far I love all things avocado & this recipe shined brightly because it was smooth, rich, creamy & tasty beyond my expectations Great recipe!
