White Bean-Avocado Appetizer Toasts, Entered for safekeeping, from 11/10/13 NY Times magazine The measurements are rather loose, so why not sprinkle on some finely chopped red onion, as well?, This was a nice appetizer for a family brunch The consistency of the bean paste was perfect The only change I made was that I toasted the bread slightly before adding the bean paste and then topped with bean paste and avocados and finished the toasting under the broiler I will definitely make this again
