Directions
Bacon in the Oven,Now you can make bacon in no time! It’s easy, not messy at all and everyone loves it! Also there is no exact amount. It has a great smokey taste.,The directions tell you to lay the bacon directly on the pan/paper. However, the picture in the recipe shows the bacon raised off the pan using a grating which would make it cook differently. Which direction is correct?,I’ve been doing this for a while and it comes out PERFECT every time. The gas grill is my go-to method if I don’t want to heat the house up. Either way, I flip mine when they start to show signs of getting done. You can put them in a cold oven; they’ll just take that much longer. I lay them on a piece of crinkled foil and I think they cook better this way. And what’s with the “pinch of pepper”? I guess they had to add SOMETHING to the ingredients just so that there’s another ingredient other than bacon. So totally unnecessary, but whatever. No need for it.
